Taking the new Smart ForTwo into the next generation, the new 2007 model was unveiled measuring 20cm longer than its current guise allowing 70litres more boot space and a larger wheel base.
This new version is said to allow the fashionable European car to be successfully introduced into the US market in 2008, who are themselves currently ungoing various political reforms orientating towards climate change awareness.
But the longer ForTwo isn't just cosmetic, the longer wheel base allows better passenger protection from collision and a more comfortable ride.
