Return of the Roadster...

Roadster fans and enthusiasts can now relax with the safe knowledge their legend will continue to live on for years to come.

It was announced earlier this summer and then later confirmed this August that the pioneering next-generation sports car will soon be back in production... this time from a site in Wales.
The Roadster original came on the scene from its shining Red & Silver concept in 1999 and then later into mainstream production in 2003. After a number of reviews the full UK spec was available towards the end of the 2003 which later attracted various limited editions including the very popular Brabus edition which marked several millions of investment into the brand by the popular tuning company.

Production originally ceased in 2005 after bad foward planning which resulted in huge stockpiles of unsold cars over the winter of 04/05. The news caused a flux of panic buying and Smart saw its nationwide Roadster sales increase by over 30%. In following year, it was later announced the ForFour, the front engined four seater Smart based on the Mitsubishi Colt, was also finishing production, just as the whole Smart community are eagrely awaiting the unveiling of the new Smart ForTwo later this year.
But for all current owners this news will only stablise the value of their Roadster, with expectations to strengthen its resale value in the future... making now the best time to finally make the decision to become a Roadster owner.
